Reflected Light Meters

Reflected light meters are essential in photography. With most cameras, it is a built-in function for metering at a distance; however, separate reflected light meters make the perfect match with older cameras to ensure the perfect amount of exposure on film. Reflected light meters are specifically designed to measure the light coming off of the subject. This can vary greatly depending on light sources and the color or reflectivity of surfaces in a shot. Used in conjunction with a flash meter, a reflected light meter gives photographers an edge in taking the perfect picture.
